$10,000 Grant received from ALLone Foundation & Charities!!

We are delighted to announce LRJ Foundation is one of the 28 charities awarded a grant from AllOne Foundations & Charities. The funds will allow us to expand our service area and enhance our Wellness Matters Program to the community and schools educating grades 5-12th.

The following are a list of intended outcomes for the Wellness Matters program:

  1. Host approximately 20 seminars for students and teachers, as well as community organizations that have begun to request our services.
  2. Interact with a minimum of 5,000 students and 1,000 teachers.
  3. Create new programming designed specifically for those younger than grade 2, as well providing for more detailed curriculum for students at universities.
  4. Viewers of the seminars will achieve a better understanding of mental health, education on suicide prevention, and gain knowledge on treatment and resources available.

The key activities to accomplish these outcomes are to continue to provide the Wellness Matters seminars, appropriately targeted to the age ranges described above, within school districts, universities, and community organizations. As well, LRJ works with teachers to provide educational seminars at in-services. Additionally, LRJ’s licensed therapists will work with staff, board members, and school partners to develop new curriculum, follow up plans, resources and a support system to have in place.

Thank you for believing in our Wellness Matters program
